Members of the NanoTherapeutics lab (Tom, Mang, Lydia, Chariya and Yu Siong) recently took part in Brain Health Day, a public engagement event organised by the Geoffrey Jefferson Brain Research Centre. Held at the Friends’ Meeting House in Manchester city centre, the event celebrated the cutting-edge brain and neuroscience research underway at the University.
Our volunteers showcased the Nanotechnology for Brain Health theme through a series of hands-on, interactive activities. Attendees explored how magnets can guide nanoparticles to the brain, creating T cell assassins using graphene, and got up close with flexible graphene neural interface devices.
The event was very well received by the public and offered a fantastic opportunity to share the innovative and impactful research happening within our lab.
