Tom is a Research Fellow leading the Nanotherapeutics Lab. Following a BSc in Medical Sciences (University of Leeds) and a PhD in Regenerative Medicine (University of Manchester), Tom gained postdoctoral expertise from several EPSRC-funded nanomedicine projects. His research focuses on translational nanomedicine, neuro-oncology,

and tissue repair. 

Lydia  joined the Nanotherapeutics Lab as a PhD student in 2023 following a MSc in Translational Medicine at the University of Barcelona. Her research is focussed on the development of nanotherapies for local  immunomodulation.

Mang completed an MRes in Cancer Biology (University of Dundee) and an MSc in Cancer Research (University of Manchester) before joining the Nanotherapeutics lab as a Research Assistant in 2022. Mang is now  a PhD student investigating the application of novel nanomaterials for immunotherapy and vaccination.

Chariya joined the Nanotherapeutics lab in 2023 as an MSc in Nanomedicine student before starting her PhD in the same group in 2025. Chariya's project is the development and engineering of bespoke nanoparticles for interaction with complex and dynamic disease environments. 

Yu Siong completed a PhD in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (University of Manchester) before joining the Nanotherapeutics lab in 2022 as a Research Assistant. Yu Siong also acts as the as the Research Lab Manager of the Centre for Nanotechnology in Medicine since 2021.
