Dr Kisby has been awarded a prestigious Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Career Development Fellowship, one of the organisation’s flagship fellowship schemes. The six-year award will provide sustained financial support to further establish and expand the Nanotherapeutics Lab, enabling the development of new research directions, the recruitment and training of early career researchers, and the cultivation of the next generation of scientists in cancer nanomedicine.
The fellowship supports a highly collaborative and translational research programme aimed at accelerating the development of nanotherapeutic strategies towards clinical application in brain tumours, with a strong focus on delivering meaningful patient benefit.
Tom is incredibly grateful to CRUK, its donors, patients, and all collaborators whose support makes this work possible.
