Nano-approaches to synergize with conventional medicine
Project type
Translational
By understanding how nanomaterials interact with conventional clinically-used therapeutic modalities we can begin to design approaches that better synergise with these. By mimicking the clinical scenario we are aiming to uncover how nanomaterials could be used to overcome therapy resistance and disease recurrence. This involves the repurposing of existing nanomaterials in addition to engineering new, bespoke nanomedicines with specific interactions with adjuvant medical approaches.
